President Dilma receives DVD with the release of the WYD logo
Earlier last week, during her passage through the city of Rio de Janeiro, President Rousseff received the DVD release of the official logo of WYD 2013 from the Governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Cabral, and the coordinator of the Government Commission for Rio2013, Luiz Carlos Pugialli.
Cabral and Pugialli greeted the President upon her arrival at the airbase. They talked about the launch ceremony for the logo, and presented her with a DVD featuring two films produced for the occasion.
According to Pugialli, the governor emphasized to the President the importance of the publication of the federal decree for the creation of the Federal Executive Committee (FEC) for WYD. The President informed the Governor that the coordinator of the FEC will be Minister Gilberto Carvalho, who will work in partnership with the commission of the State and City of Rio de Janeiro. The decree should be released in early March.
Dilma congratulated the work of the creator of the logo, the young Gustav Huguenin [...], and said that, besides being very beautiful, the logo portrayed Rio and Brazil very well. The governor also noted the importance of the presence of a representative of the federal government in meeting with the Pontifical Council for the Laity (PCL), which will arrive in Rio on Monday, February 27th.
